What a great time we had in New York. The first day we were there we nearly walked the length of Manhattan, well, from Little Italy to Central Park. The weather was great, and we were so happy to be there. We stayed in Brooklyn with Max's friend Will. The Brooklyn Comics Festival was great; we were able to see tons of friends and meet people we hadn't met before, like Gary Panter and Matthew Thurber. We also hung out with friends Marco, Adam, and Fran. Great to see everyone, and to have people humor us as we took photos and looked around in wonder.
There was a Fluxus show at MOMA?!?! Dang it.
ReplyDeleteYes! It was great, also Max and I got in free because it was "Target's Free First Fridays". Also at MOMA Van Gogh's "Starry Night" which I never imagined seeing in person. People were standing in front of it crying.
