End of August Mini-Comic and Zine Events

John Porcellino is coming to Seattle August 30th. He will appear at Richard Hugo House on Capitol Hill for a slide lecture beginning at 7:00 PM. Special guest Noah Van Sciver.

The mini-comics of both John and Noah have been really important to me, and really entertaining; aside from receiving a tax refund or a loaded birthday card from my parents, receiving mail from either of these comic book artists is the best thing that can happen to my mailbox.

The very next night, the "Zines on Toast" road tour comes to town. What? Am I really going to Hugo House two nights in a row? This show is focussing on the UK zine scene. Should be fun!
