This show looks SO NICE. When I walked in, my heart skipped a beat when I saw original Lynda Barry art, pieces I've only seen in books. We have one wall, which is papered with copies from our comics. The rest of the show is an amazing survey of comic art in Seattle. I'm so honored to live here, and to know the likes of Jim Woodring, Jim Blanchard, Peter Bagge, David Lasky, Mark Campos, and so many great comic artists living in Seattle. I took many more photos, which I will post soon, I don't want to ruin the surprise of walking into this great show. |
