From the Vermillion Gallery website:
Last Couple of Days for "BFF: Excerpts From Friends of the Nib"
Since we have an event this Saturday night, Thursday and Friday are best for viewing before this show ends.
One piece that is still (!) available is Ellen Forney's "Big F***ing Hands." This is actually the very first hand painted piece that she later decided to turn into her "Hands" series. As a result, Sound Transit invited Ellen to do two huge murals in the forthcoming Capitol Hill Station.
Regina Hackett mentions the show on her blog: Another Bouncing Ball.
This was a super fun and successful show. Thanks to all 40+ artists who did over 80 pieces of art and all of the people who bought new art.
Personal note: When this show comes down, and the Cafe Racer Valentine show comes down, that's pretty much it for the Friends of the Nib. This group welcomed me and allowed me to participate in a lot of great shows over the past 3 years and I'm sad to see it break up.
